Project Counter Spin
Project HiBall (High altitude ballooning) was a project to send payloads to 100,000 ft (30 km) using a weather balloon. The wind gusts in the upper atmosphere cause the payloads to spin. Previous flights have attempted to place a video camera onboard a payload. The spin made the footage unusable.
The purpose of project counter spin is to create an attitude stabilization system for the video camera creating awesome footage of the edge of space.
